James: "What I was trying to make with the Joy Is Allowed video was a kind of trippy feast to remind myself and everyone else of all the joy and color and humor of being alive, even if things are weird. That is what the song is about - remembering that it's still ok to see and feel the richness of the world, no matter what else is happening. And to laugh. It's what keeps me going."
